Your new roleYou''ll join a busy social housing team providing specialist money, benefits and welfare advice to residents who need support navigating financial pressures, income maximisation and complex welfare entitlements.Experience in a similar role is essential to be considered for this vacancy.Your work will include:Income maximisation - reviewing household income, identifying gaps, completing benefit checksWelfare advice - supporting claims, appeals, mandatory reconsiderations and form-fillingBudgeting support - helping residents stabilise finances and manage arrearsMulti-agency liaison - working with internal teams, DWP, local authorities and support partnersCase management - maintaining accurate records, tracking outcomes and ensuring complianceThis is a 28-hour-per-week role on a 3-month temporary contract, working hybrid with 2 days per week in the office. Start date: ASAP.What you''ll need to succeedProven experience in a similar money, welfare or income-advice roleStrong understanding of benefits legislation, UC, PIP, ESA, LHA, Discretionary Housing PaymentsConfident in supporting vulnerable residents with complex financial situationsExcellent communication, empathy and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage a busy caseload and deliver timely, accurate adviceWhat you''ll get in return£20 per hour + holiday pay, weekly payHybrid working with 2 office days for collaboration and supportOption to be paid PAYE or Umbrella What you need to do now If you''re interested ..... full job details .....
