      <description>Location: Dunblane | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Job Title: Modern Studies/History Teacher (Secondary) Location: Dunblane, Scotland Role: 3 days per week  Job Purpose To deliver high-quality Modern Studies and History teaching within a full-boarding, nurturing school environment, supporting young people to achieve their academic potential while contributing to their wider personal development. The role requires a commitment to Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), strong pastoral care, and active involvement in the broader life of the school community. Key Responsibilities Learning and Teaching  Plan and deliver engaging Modern Studies and History lessons across Broad General Education (BGE) and Senior Phase, including SQA qualifications (National 4/5, Higher, Advanced Higher). Adapt teaching approaches to support a diverse boarding pupil cohort, recognising varied backgrounds and experiences. Promote independent learning, resilience, and critical thinking.
