Systems Engineer - Modelling and Simulation x3 days p/w in Reading6 Month intiial contractSC required to start - UKEO programme Rate open, outside IR35 Our client, a small defence engineering consultancy in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled professional in Modelling and Simulation for a contract role in Reading. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of Modelling and Simulation (MandS) projects from concept through to deployment Design and develop simulation architectures, synthetic environments, and integrated simulation capabilities Enable interoperability between simulation systems, models, and wider technical ecosystems Support the integration of MandS solutions with Digital Engineering, Digital Twin, Digital Thread, and MBSE environments Contribute to Test and Evaluation, experimentation, and simulation-based testing activities Provide technical leadership, guidance, and assurance across client engagements Produce technical documentation, solution designs, and delivery reports Manage technical risks and ensure solutions are delivered in line with best practice and governance requirements Support capability development, innovation initiatives, and business growth activities Job Requirements:Essential Experience: Significant experience in Modelling and Simulation, Synthetic Environments, or Simulation-Based Capability delivery Experience delivering MandS solutions within Defence or other complex engineering environments Strong ..... full job details .....
