James Phillip Financial recruitment are working with a local Chartered Wealth firm looking for a Portfolio Manager to join their expanding team.Working closely with the Deputy CIO, you will lead the construction, implementation, and evolution of my clients model portfolio proposition. You will play a central role in translating macroeconomic views into actionable portfolio decisions, while helping to scale and enhance their asset management capabilities as the business continues to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Strategy and ManagementLead the design and ongoing evolution of model portfolios in line with the firm''s macroeconomic outlook and asset allocation strategyTranslate macro views into practical portfolio positioning and investment decisionsOversee non-standard portfolios, ensuring appropriate governance and documentationContribute meaningfully to Investment Committee discussions and decisionsTrading and ImplementationOversee trading activity across all platforms, ensuring efficient and timely executionReview and approve trade instructions, maintaining high standards of accuracy and controlEnsure portfolios remain implementation-ready at all timesConduct post-trade reviews to ensure completeness and consistency across client accountsPerformance and ReportingMonitor portfolio performance and positioning, identifying risks and opportunitiesSupport the Deputy CIO with analysis, reporting, and strategic insightsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records across all ..... full job details .....
