MOD Vehicle Technician

MPI are looking for MOD Vehicle Technicians, for our client based in Braunton, DevonLong-term contract work37 hours weekly Security Clearance Rates: to be discussed Overview: Conduct mandated vehicle inspections.Conduct ADR inspections.Deliver vehicle inspection training to Equipment Support personnel.Maintain JAMES MIS (Joint Asset Management and Engineering Solutions Management Information Systems).Conduct servicing, maintenance, mechanical, structural and electrical repairs on equipment and vehicles in accordance with current regulations.To safeguard all tools issued including all Special Tools and Test equipment within the workshop and to operate machinery and power tools.Adhere to the Engineering Management System. Responsibility: CLR vehicle and ADR InspectorLAD MEI , VM 1 mandatory MEI refresher training instructorConduct role specific training as requiredMaintain inspection bay equipment to legal standardsSME for CLR Inspection Standards and JAMES Essential: Good IT skills as will be required to use computer systems daily.Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environmentExperience as a DVSA Vehicle InspectorExperience as an ADR InspectorNVQ Lv 3 Automotive EngineeringDVSA Vehicle InspectorADR InspectorFull UK Driving LicenceNVQ Lv3 or city guilds full drive licence + HGV + FMT600 Desirable: Cat C Driving Licence (HGV medical required) Training provided.Previous experience working on Plant and Associated equipment.Experience working with military ..... full job details .....
