MOD Security Cleared Network Engineer

RED is seeking an experienced MOD Security Cleared Network Engineer to support project delivery on a client site in Cumbria. The successful candidate will work closely with the SI, client Project Managers, SMEs, Architects, and support teams to deliver network infrastructure projects on time and to a high standard. The role will involve hands-on installation, configuration, refresh, testing, and support of enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, wireless, voice, Firewall, routing, switching, and associated technologies.Contract InformationRole: Network EngineerLocation: Cumbria - Full onsiteDuration: 3 months with possible extensionStart Date: 10/08/2026Engagement: Inside IR35Clearance and Eligibility RequirementsCandidates must meet the following requirements:Hold active MOD SC clearanceSC clearance must have been actively used within the last 12 monthsSC clearance must have at least 3 months remaining to allow time for interview, offer, and clearance transferMust be a sole UK nationalMust meet the UK residency/travel requirement, with no more than 28 days outside the UK within the last 5 yearsRequired Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years'' experience in Network Engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience configuring network systemsGood understanding of switching, routing, Firewalling, load balancing, and voice infrastructureExperience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and voice network infrastructureKnowledge of network security, VPNs, ..... full job details .....
