In this role, you will deliver time-limited, individualised orientation programmes to enable visually impaired students and students with other complex orientation needs to travel safely, efficiently, and independently around campus. Key Responsibilities - Conduct professional location and route assessments across campus buildings, lecture halls, libraries, and surrounding transport hubs. - Design and execute tailored, time-limited mobility and orientation training plans based on individual student needs. - Teach safe route-finding techniques, spatial awareness, and the use of mobility aids (e.g., long cane, navigation tools). - Liaise accordingly to ensure appropriate environmental adjustments and support measures are in place. - Monitor student progress, review support goals, and promote long-term student independence.
