Mobile Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Mobile Vehicle Technician with a trusted leader in the automotive industry covering the Aberdeen area.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Mobile Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

- Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles, including:
- Brake inspections and repairs
- Suspension checks
- Oil and filter replacements
- Wheel changes (wheel builds and replacements, no tyre changes)
- Perform light maintenance tasks at customer workshop locations
- Use built-up rims for wheel changes, returning old wheels as part of the service
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with schedule deadlines
- Operate efficiently within a mobile team environment, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime

Requirements:

- Level 3 qualified technician
- Electric/Hybrid qualified – Highly beneficial
- MOT tester licence – Highly beneficial
- Confident in the ability to repair and service multi-brand vehicles to a high standard
- Able to use diagnostics to test and repair faults
- Able to work independently and manage your own schedule on the road
- Experience working on Light Commercial Vehicles
- Can complete job cards correctly
- Have your own tools for the job
- Full UK Driving Licence

The salary for this Mobile Fleet Vehicle Technician role is up to £40,800 basic with an OTE of £46,740.

The hours of work for this role are a 42.5 hour working week.
