Mobile Vehicle Technician

We are pleased to represent our client in recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for the Tunbridge Wells area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent salary package, career progression, and industry benefits. The successful individual will join a reputable company specialising in plant and vehicle fleet maintenance, operating for over 30 years and managing more than 6,500 pieces of equipment across diverse sectors.

Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• Perform comprehensive service repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including cars, vans, and ancillary equipment, ranging from small to heavy vehicles
• Conduct visual inspections, fluid changes, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts such as brake linings
• Strip, fit, and replace components as required, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality
• Organise workload to meet operational deadlines efficiently
• Maintain accurate reports in compliance with internal and legal requirements
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• Proven experience as a HGV Vehicle Technician, Mobile Vehicle Technician, or similar role within the motor trade
• Full UK driving licence
• Own set of tools suitable for performing repairs and diagnostics
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
