Mobile Vehicle Technician

This stable and successful national organisation is recruiting for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to support major fleet customers across the Kent area. Working Monday to Friday, you''ll receive a fully equipped company van, specialist refrigeration training, paid door-to-door travel and excellent long-term job security. The business is known for looking after its people and offers realistic earnings of 51-54k with optional overtime. The role: Service, maintain and repair refrigerated light commercial vehicles. Work as a Mobile Vehicle Technician covering customer sites across your local area. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and refrigeration-related faults. Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repair work to high standards. Receive specialist training on transport refrigeration equipment where required. Monday to Friday early/day shifts with all travel time paid on a door-to-door basis. The Mobile Vehicle Technician should: Be a qualified Vehicle Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician with strong mechanical skills. Have experience servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles. Hold NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications. Hold a full UK driving licence. Ideally have experience of transport refrigeration systems, air conditioning, HVAC equipment or other refrigeration technology.
