MOBILE PSV TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER Confidential Passenger Transport Operator North East England Permanent Position Monday to Friday Flexible Working Hours Minimum 38 Hours per Week 20.54 per hour basic 23.02 per hour overtime 27.05 per hour weekend rest-day rate Additional enhanced rates for nights and bank holidays JOB DESCRIPTION An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile PSV Technician / Engineer to join the engineering team of a major passenger transport operator in the North East. This is a mobile position where you will provide engineering support across the operator''s fleet and locations, helping to keep vehicles safe, compliant and available for service. The role offers flexible Monday-to-Friday working, a minimum of 38 hours per week and excellent opportunities to increase earnings through overtime, weekend work and enhanced-rate shifts. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles Attending vehicle breakdowns and engineering call-outs when required Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults Completing mobile repairs and rectification work Carrying out vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance Identifying worn or defective components Ensuring vehicles meet required DVSA and company standards Completing all relevant engineering paperwork and maintenance records Working independently while supporting depot-based engineering teams Maintaining high standards of ..... full job details .....
