The key focus of the Site Infrastructure Engineer role is to manage and support the Group''s Network, IT and Communications Infrastructure across sites in the South East as well as becoming the local face of IT Support to our Operational teams. KEY TASKS: Day to day configuration, troubleshooting and fault resolution on standard LAN / WAN components e.g. switches, routers, wireless access points Ability to design, install and interconnect infrastructure across geographically dispersed sites. Installation and decommissioning of EUC devices such as laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices Act as a point of escalation for incidents, liaising between support teams and site resources Management of third party suppliers for installations, fault resolution and ensuring agreed service levels are maintained Build relationships with site operational teams to ensure onsite IT is fit for purpose, enables efficient operations and conforms with company standards.
