Mobile Service Van Technician

Hydrasun is looking for a skilled Mobile Service Van Technician to provide onsite hose replacement, assembly, inspection and maintenance services across customer locations. This is a hands-on field-based role requiring strong hydraulic or mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safe working practices. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer call-outs and breakdowns efficiently. Assemble, install and replace hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial hose assemblies. Carry out hose inspections and identify replacement requirements. Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic system issues. Deliver high-quality workmanship in line with company and customer standards. Complete job sheets, service reports and timesheets accurately. Maintain stock levels within the mobile service vehicle. Conduct weekly vehicle and equipment inspections. Ensure all work complies with HSE, quality and environmental procedures. Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Promote Hydrasun products and services where appropriate. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the service team. Mentor trainees and support team development when required. Participate in the on-call rota and work overtime as required. Essential Requirements Full UK Category B driving licence. Experience working with hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic systems.
