We are currently working with an established Climate Control and HVAC contractor in the Midlands who are seeking a Mobile Service Engineer carrying out servicing and breakdown works on HVAC Chiller units, compressors and other mechanical units. The company have been operating for over 50 years and have built a highly successful Rail HVAC division with contracts throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire.

You will work on a mobile basis, travelling to client sites to repair HVAC and Chiller units on trains. The work will be based throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire and as this is a mobile role, you will receive door to door travel pay to cover all your travel time on top of your salary. The company also offer a generous Profit Share scheme in which every employee receives a portion of the companies profits each quarter. There is no call out rota on this role, it is a normal 40 hour working week Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

Attending breakdowns to diagnose and repair faults

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical equipment.

Stripping and rewiring of electrical components as well as electrical testing.

Experience on Rail HVAC Chiller units and compressors would be highly advantageous, as well as F Gas 2079 and electrical wiring experience.

Requirements

Experience of working within a similar role / industry

Logical troubleshooting skills

Full UK Licence

Happy travelling throughout the Midlands and South Yorkshire
