MOBILE PLANT SERVICE ENGINEER

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Plant Service Engineer to join an established business offering a varied role with fresh challenges and a rewarding career path.Based in Boston Lincolnshire, this business designs and manufactures heavy duty machinery for the growing international pipeline and cable trenching industries. The bespoke machines can weigh over 100 tonnes and use high horsepower diesel engines to power a hydrostatic drive system with intelligent machine management and control systems. The diversity of in-house engineering skills is second to none, encompassing mechanical, electrical, diesel, hydraulic, land based and offshore technology.Working as part of the after-sales support team as a Mobile Plant Service Engineer, you''ll be involved in the service, maintenance, and repair of diesel hydraulic mobile machinery, both factory based and off site, including:Service and maintenance of mobile machineryTesting, diagnostics and repair of machine hydraulic and electrical systemsInstallation and maintenance of laser and GPS machine control systemsMechanical machinery fitting and weldingCommissioning and operator training for new machinesUK wide travel with occasional nights outYou will have demonstrable skills and experience of mechanical machinery fitting, maintenance and welding. You will be methodical and reliable, with excellent attention to detail and have a passion for high quality engineering.
