Mobile Plant Operator FLT

We''re looking for a talented Mobile Plant Operator to work for our client in Hartlepool.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

The Role:
As the Mobile Plant Operator you''ll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shifts: Days: 4on 4 off- 7am-7pm. Nights- 7pm-7am.

As a Mobile Plant Operator/ FLT Operator you will be responsible for operating a Forklift Truck

The main focus of an operator is to be responsible in safely and efficiently operating and monitoring machinery during process operations, along with ensuring finished goods are taken off and stored safely and securely in the warehouse.

• Place materials in correct location and take material samples when required
• Carry out operator duties regarding machine running for optimum performance and availability.
• Collect waste material from the process lines and load them into skips or vehicles

Multi Skilled Operative - Person Specification

• FLT licence is essential (valid certifications required)
• Shovel, Grab or Skid Steer experience would be beneficial
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (required)
• Loading Shovel Licence (required)
• Grab Material Handler (required)

In addition, you''ll need the following:
- An excellent communication, team work and customer service skills
- An experience minimum of 1 year''s ( desirable)
- A flexible attitude and a team player
