Mobile Plant Operator

We''re looking for a talented Mobile Plant Operator to work for our client in Musselburgh.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

The Role:
As the Mobile Plant Operator you''ll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shifts: Days: Mon to Fri, 06:30-16:30. Nights: Mon to Fri, 22:00-06:00.

As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of a busy recycling site. You''ll be operating a variety of machinery and supporting general yard functions in a safety-focused, fast-paced environment.


Requirements:
- Valid licences

• (NPORS or equivalent) for:
• 360 Excavator (Wheeled/Tracked)
• Telescopic Handler
• Loading Shovel

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience in a waste&recycling or similar heavy-duty environment is desirable
- A strong work ethic and ''can-do'' attitude
- Reliability and punctuality
- UK right to work

Duties Include:

• Operating telescopic handler, loading shovel, and 360 excavator/material handler (tracked/wheeled)
• Loading vehicles and moving materials around site
• Feeding processing lines and separating waste
• Performing daily maintenance checks and housekeeping
• Supporting yard operations and working in all weather conditions
• Maintenance and cleaning of Lindner shredders

In addition, you''ll need the following:
- An excellent communication, team work and customer service skills
- An experience minimum of 1 year''s ( desirable)
- A flexible attitude and a team player
