Position Overview: The Mobile Maintenance Fitter is responsible for carrying out the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of mobile plant and equipment used by surfacing operations, ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability. The role involves working across multiple sites, responding to planned maintenance and breakdowns, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards. The Mobile Maintenance Fitter plays a key role in minimising downtime and supporting the operational performance of surfacing squads. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance on surfacing equipment, including pavers, rollers, planers and associated machinery Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise operational downtime Inspect/service equipment to identify defects and recommend appropriate repairs Complete servicing in line with manufacturers'' recommendations and company maintenance schedules Maintain accurate ..... full job details .....
