Mobile Plant Fitter

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Workshop-Based Mobile Plant Fitter on behalf of our client based in Essex on a Permanent basis.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on a wide range of plant machinery.Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and PAT testing where required.Attend customer sites across Essex and the surrounding counties to carry out repairs and servicing.Use computer diagnostic equipment to identify faults and complete repairs efficiently.Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.Ensure all work is carried out in line with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.Inspect equipment to ensure it is safe, fully operational and ready for use.Follow all Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices.Work effectively within the workshop team and independently whilst on-site.Additional ResponsibilitiesWork on a variety of leading plant machinery brands including JCB, Komatsu, Bomag, Thwaites, Hamm, Powerscreen, John Deere and Bell.Maintain and repair equipment including excavators, dumpers, crushers, screeners, wheeled loaders, generators, water pumps, hydraulic attachments, compaction equipment and lifting equipment.Carry out both workshop-based and mobile service work as business requirements dictate.Assist with maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.Experience, Skills ..... full job details .....
