Mobile Plant Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Mobile Plant Fitter/Mechanic within a Plant Fleet and Vehicle fleet maintenance company based in the Ashford area.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Mobile Plant Engineer who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

- Complete service repairs and maintenance ranging from small to heavy vehicles. With the focus on Cars, Cans and Ancillary equipment.
- All visual inspections, adjustment operations, adjustments, operating fluid changes and additions, replacement of worn equipment (e.g. brake linings).
- Stripping fitting and replacing components on vehicles.
- Ensuring that all jobs are running smoothly, and deadlines are met

Requirements:

- Motor Trade experience as a Plant Mechanic/HGV Tech/Vehicle Technician is essential.
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Report keeping (internal and legal requirements).
- Full UK Driving Licence
- You own set of tools.

The salary for this Mobile Vehicle Technician role is up to £37,000 basic with an OTE of £40,000.

The hours of work for this role are 47.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
