Mobile Plant Engineer

Job Title: Mobile Service Engineer Location: Based in St Helens - Regional service covering North West England Salary: 34,500 + Overtime + Company Benefits Hours: Days - Monday to FridayAbout the Role:We are currently seeking a Mobile Service Engineer with a strong background in heavy plant machinery to join our team. The role covers the North West region You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of machinery including Telehandlers, Diggers, Excavators, Rollers, and other Plant equipment.This is a mobile role, but due to the need to collect parts, the ideal candidate must be based within 40 minutes of our depot in St Helens. You will also need to provide your own tools.Key Responsibilities:Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a range of JCB and heavy plant equipment.Provide high-quality customer service while on-site.Ensure all machinery is maintained to company and legal standards.Complete all required documentation and job reports accurately.Liaise with parts department and collect parts from depot when needed.Requirements:NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (essential).Proven experience working with heavy plant machinery - especially JCB equipment.Full UK driving licence.Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.Must have own tools.Based within 40 minutes of base.What We Offer:Competitive salary with overtime opportunities.Company vehicle and fuel card.Ongoing training and development.Supportive team ..... full job details .....
