Mobile Plant Engineer

Location: LanarkSalary: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour + Door-to-Door Pay + Company VanOur client is a well-established plant hire and earthworks contractor with over 50 years of experience, operating a modern fleet of earthmoving equipment across Scotland and Northern England. They support a wide range of civil engineering, infrastructure, quarrying, utilities, and renewable energy projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Mobile Plant Engineer to join their engineering team based in Lanark.Role OverviewCarry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy plant machinery.Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.Attend breakdowns at customer sites across Scotland.Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.Work independently while providing excellent customer service.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer, or similar.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.Experience working on excavators, dump trucks, dozers, loading shovels, rollers, or similar heavy plant.Good knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.Full UK Driving Licence.Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.Salary and Benefits£18.00 - £20.00 per hour.Door-to-door pay.40-hour working week.Company van provided.Overtime available.Permanent, ..... full job details .....
