Mobile Panel Beater

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile Panel Beater. Duties of the Mobile Panel Beater:

• Carry out high-quality panel repairs and replacements to vehicle bodies
• Complete MET repairs including rebuilding doors, fitting front panels, and replacing vehicle components
• Weld and bond replacement panels securely
• Apply fillers and sealants, ensuring surfaces are correctly prepared for painting
• Work confidently on hybrid and electric vehicles, adhering to all safety guidelines
• Use tools and equipment properly while maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Follow health and safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE
• Complete repairs within specified timeframes, maintaining high standards across all sites
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support the wider team
• Travel across multiple sites in the North of England, including Stockport, Rochdale, Wakefield, York, Blackburn, Stoke, Crewe, and Doncaster

Requirements of the Mobile Panel Beater:

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater or Vehicle Body Repair Technician within an accident repair environment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
• Technical ability to carry out repairs independently from start to finish
• Experience working on Hybrid and EV vehicles
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing a busy workload
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel between multiple sites
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
