EQUANS is recruiting for a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our team supporting a key Healthcare contract in the Dudley area. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of mechanical and general maintenance tasks, including PPM, reactive works, and minor installations. This is a mobile role with potential support to the wider Bristol and Oxford regions as required.This is a critical position within a high-performing engineering team, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairsComplete accurate and timely reports, paperwork, and compliance documentationPerform minor mechanical installations and general maintenanceControl and supervise sub-contractors and safety documentationManage spare part requirements and report on repair statusParticipate in out-of-hours call-out rota (currently 1 in 3)Work safely within company SHEQ standards and contribute to sustainability goalsEnsure all works are carried out with a customer-first approachKey Technical Competencies
Plumbing (City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 – essential)Drainage, pressure systems, TMVs, sanitary wareHeating systems, pumps, AHUs, thermal wheelsGeneral building services maintenanceUnderstanding of BMS and fire/life safety systemsBasic knowledge of electrical systems (single and three-phase)General handyman dutiesRAMS and Permit to Work systems knowledgeQualifications and Experience Required
Recognised Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services qualificationCity and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Pipework (essential)HTM Compliance awareness (RP/AP roles desirable)Health and Safety and Legionella AwarenessTMV City and GuildsFamiliarity with LV electrical systemsIT proficient (Word, Excel, reporting systems)IPAF 3a and 3b (desirable)Refrigeration and air conditioning knowledge (advantageous)Person Profile
