As Mobile Mechanical Engineer – Surrey - 45K, you will join a longstanding mechanical engineering firm to deliver planned preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across commercial plant rooms. Based in Surrey, this permanent role covers contracts including civic buildings, Wimbledon Tennis Club, libraries, and schools within Surrey and Merton. Working on a van-mobile basis, key responsibilities involve servicing actuators, expansion vessels, and hot and cold water systems. The position requires strong commercial plumbing skills and fault-finding abilities. This role offers a salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum, with a focus on routine service and breakdown response.

Mobile Mechanical Engineer – Surrey / Merton cover only - £45k
My Client are a mechanical engineering who have been in operation for over 50 years providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.
They seek a Mobile commercial plumber/mech engineer   to carry out services maintenance and repair Predominantly to their contracts across Surrey and Merton.
Contracts include Civic Buildings, Wimbledon Tennis Club, Libraries, Community Centres, Fire Stations, Schools and Offices
Your role will be to work on van mobile basis across Merton and Surrey carrying out the following works in commercial plant rooms:
•             Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
•             Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and breakdowns
•             Actuators, expansion vessels, hot and cold water systems, strainers, Pumps.
•             General commercial plumbing repair.
•             Responding to emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance issue
Qualifications desired :
·    Minimum NVQ Level 2 in a Mechanical discipline such as Plumbing and Heating
·    UHWSS or G3 Qualified
·    Commercial plant room exp
·    Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
·    Full Clean Driving License
·    Must pass an enhanced DBS background check
Must Live within a reasonable distance of Surrey and Merton.
Package on offer:
- £40-45k dependant on experience and qualifications held.
- 40 hour week Monday to Friday
- Weekly or Monthly pay to suit
- Travel time paid after 30 minutes given each way.
- Fully expensed company van (with private use), fuel card and expenses.

- Call out rota 1 in 7 weeks with a £200 retainer
