Reading, Bracknell, Slough / M4 Corridor £45,000 - £65,000 + Benefits Permanent We''re recruiting a Mobile Industrial Electrician to join an established UK environmental engineering business, supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of specialist wastewater treatment equipment across customer sites. This is a hands-on, field-based position suited to a qualified electrician with experience in industrial or commercial environments who enjoys practical engineering, problem-solving and working across different sites. You''ll be working with a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, supporting projects across construction, industrial and environmental sectors, with specialist training provided to develop your skills within water treatment. The role covers customer sites across the South and wider UK, with regular travel and overnight stays during the working week. Key Duties and Responsibilities Install, connect, test and commission electrical equipment and specialist wastewater treatment systems at customer sites. Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, inspections and electrical fault finding. Support mechanical installation, equipment assembly and general site engineering activities. Diagnose equipment faults and resolve technical issues to maintain reliable operation. Prepare, inspect and test equipment before installation and during commissioning.
