Mobile HGV TechnicianLocation: Bedford and Surrounding AreasSalary: £50,000 per annum + Company Van and Fuel CardHours: Straight Day Shift + Overtime and Callouts AvailableAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to cover Bedford and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable day shift role with excellent earning potential through plentiful overtime and callouts.You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of HGVs at customer sites and roadside locations, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and back on the road as quickly as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on HGVsDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faultsPerform roadside breakdown assistance and emergency repairsComplete all relevant paperwork accurately and efficientlyEnsure all work is carried out in line with DVSA standardsProvide excellent customer service at all timesParticipate in callout rota (additional pay provided)RequirementsProven experience as an HGV Technician / HGV MechanicLevel 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently in a mobile roleGood communication and customer service skillsWhat''s on Offer£50,000 basic salaryCompany van (fully equipped)Fuel cardStraight ..... full job details .....
