HGV Technician/Fitter required to carry out safety inspections and maintenance on our fleet of HGV''s-

You will be working across 2 sites one in Swanscombe and one in Redhill Surrey

The right applicant must show a initiative to the approach of repairing or replacing parts inline with our preventative maintenance including inspection tyre rotation etc. Have a varied skill set and experience with HGV''s and trailer repairs including curtain repairs, electrical fault finding, possible fabrication etc. You will be working across 2 sites one in Swanscombe and one in Redhill Surrey. The successful candidate must be able to run Jailtest diagnostics in additional to their own or shared knowledge base with problems solving and not reliant on Jailtest results. 5 years plus experience possess a category C licence (not essential) and mechanical certification. Applicant will be responsible for planning his own work load with our compliance and transport manager. They must record parts used on each asset, via our tablet used for our inspections linked to our workshop program. The successful applicant will be supplied a van, phone and tablet and will have an assistant to help carry out repairs. Shift will be flexible with a 10 hour shift pattern to work around vehicle availability, overtime expected and paid in addition to basic salary..
