Duties of the HGV Crane Engineer Working across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems, you will be responsible for:Servicing, maintaining and repairing lorry-loader and truck-mounted lifting equipmentDiagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.Working on pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses and hydraulic control systems.Fault-finding on 24V electrical, CAN bus and electronic control systems.Carrying out planned servicing and reactive breakdown repairs.Installing, wiring, testing and commissioning new systems.Completing inspections, testing and LOLER-related work where qualified.Mechanical repairs, component replacement and occasional fabrication/welding.Providing techn...
