Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer looking to work for the UK''s leading Facilities Transformation company?Role Overview
As a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance, reactive, and emergency tasks on gas appliances and associated equipment, along with plumbing maintenance and other building repairs, including fabric and basic electrical maintenance tasks as required. You should be able to anticipate, diagnose, and repair faults. Ensure all tasks are completed within contractual timescales, and all electronic documentation and certification are completed accurately, timely, and to legislative standards.You must be available on a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours cover for clients and assist team members as directed by a Supervisor or Operations Manager. Proactive sourcing of additional opportunities or works on sites, monitoring visiting subcontractors for quality and safety standards, issuing permits, and controlling small works are also part of your responsibilities.What we are looking for
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be qualified to City and Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines and hold the necessary commercial gas qualifications:COCN1 or CODNCO1 (CCN1)TPCP1 and TPCP1AICPN1Appliances CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1Experience
Maintaining, testing, and fault finding on a range of plant and equipment including gas appliances, boilers, pumps, ventilation, etc.Working on HVAC equipment including Air Handling UnitsKnowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practicesPlumbing worksExperience in Facilities Management industriesBasic electrical knowledge (desirable)Person Specification
