Mobile Gas Engineer

Overview

There’s an opportunity for you here as a Mobile Gas Engineer to join one of our new contracts for Birmingham City University. You will be responsible for the gas maintenance of 26 buildings around the Birmingham area.The Role

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipmentCarrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocatedCarrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosisEnsuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levelsCompleting job sheets electronically on a Tablet or SmartphoneMaintaining site based records and log booksCarrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipmentProactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvementsWorking to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and proceduresMaintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and emailHours of Work

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm1 in 4 call out (likely to change to 1 in 7) paid at an additional weekly costVan will be providedAdditional earnings available through overtime - if wantedBenefits and Perks
