Mobile Furniture Technician

Furniture Fitter / Installation Technician - paying up to -33,000 per annum plus overtime. Based in South Glos - Permanent position working 7am to 5pm (45 hrs per week) Mon to Fri. Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking, Lunches provided.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Furniture Fitter / Installation Technician to join our successful client based in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a small team, this role will suit someone who has strong practical and mechanical fitting skills, and has carried out installation and fitting work in the past. Experience within fitting and installing furniture would be ideal, however our client will welcome applications from outside their industry - eg Shop Fitters, Bench Joiners. A full UK driving licence would be ideal, but is not essential.

Duties of the Furniture Fitter / Installation Technician will involve:

-Delivering and installing product at customers premises

-Working alongside and sometimes overseeing other trades people

-Completing all relevant paperwork, quality checks and ensuring work is completed to a high standard

-Carrying out snagging work and trouble shooting any issues

-Liaising with customers

-Helping out in Warehouse when required

The successful Furniture Fitter / Installation Technician will have previous experience working in a similar role - either as part of a team or independently. You will have good fitting / trade skills and be able to work to timescales and produce work to a very high standard. You must have a full UK driving licence as this role will involve covering the whole of the UK (no overnight stays required).
