Mobile Forklift Engineer

Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and growing materials handling business, covering customers across the North East. As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will travel to customer sites across the North East, carrying out servicing, planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault finding on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. Key responsibilities - Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Carry out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Respond to breakdowns and minimise customer downtime. Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records. Identify parts requirements and order parts when required. Build strong working relationships with customers. Manage your own diary and workload. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Personal Requirements - Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Engineer or similar. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience. Previous experience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment. Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A professional, reliable and proactive approach. Ability to work independently. Full UK Driving Licence. ..... full job details .....
