Location: Croydon, Greater London
Salary: £36,000 – £44,000 (door-to-door paid)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 + overtime at 1.5x

The Company

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.

Our client provides materials handling and access solutions to customers nationwide, with multiple sites across the UK and a strong industry reputation.

The Package

The Role

• Diagnose faults, service, and repair forklifts and plant equipment
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance
• Travel to customer sites to complete planned and emergency work
• Work independently while maintaining high service standards
• Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions
• Complete job reports and ensure accurate documentation
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems

Requirements

• Previous experience in the forklift or plant industry (essential)
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills (essential)
• Experience working with hydraulics, engines, and battery systems (essential)
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds – desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
