Mobile Fitter / Engineer

We''re currently working with a leading specialist in the pump and engine sector who are looking for a Mobile Fitter to join their team in the Leeds area, covering both branch and on-site customer locations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on role, carrying out diesel engine repairs, diagnostics, and pump maintenance. You''ll be part of a skilled team, with the chance to develop your expertise in a niche industry while enjoying excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs, fault-finding, and diagnostics on diesel engine equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Conduct regular servicing of pump fleet equipment.
• Work safely at all times, adhering to PPE and company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Complete daily vehicle defect reports and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Accurately record tasks and job completions via tablet.

Skills & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working with engines or in a mechanical engineering environment.
• Experience on site and in a workshop is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new skills and training.
• Full UK driving licence (with 6 points or less).
