This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carpenter or fabric technician with knowledge of fire doors and passive fire protection. The role will involve a mixture of fire door installations, remedial works, fire stopping and general fabric maintenance, with some painting and decorating required. As a Mobile Fire Fabric Technician, you will: Carry out fire door installations, upgrades and remedial works in accordance with current fire safety standards. Complete fire door inspections and identify defects requiring remedial action. Install and replace fire door ironmongery, including hinges, locks, closers, seals and signage. Pack and adjust hinges, align doors and frames, and ensure correct door operation and certification compliance.
