Mobile Engineer

Overview

Wates Property Services is looking for a skilled and reliable Mobile Engineer to join our team supporting the Hampshire Blue Light contract. This role involves delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring critical infrastructure remains safe, operational, and compliant.Responsibilities

Carry out a wide range of building services maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, and general fabric repairsRespond promptly to reactive maintenance requests across designated sitesConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of building systemsMaintain accurate records of work completed and materials usedEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific proceduresProvide excellent customer service and represent Wates professionally at all timesQualifications

Proven experience in a mobile engineering or multi-skilled maintenance roleRelevant trade qualifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical, or building fabric)Full UK driving licence (essential)Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenanceAbility to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple locationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPre-employment checks
