Are you an experienced Mobile Electrician looking for a stable role with variety, autonomy and genuine progression£ 

We’re supporting a long-standing, privately owned building services contractor as they continue to grow their electrical division across Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team that values quality, trust and long-term relationships.

The Role 

As a Mobile Electrician, you’ll carry out electrical maintenance, installation, testing and remedial works across a variety of sites in the Devon region. The work is diverse, well-organised and supported by a friendly team who take pride in doing things properly. 

Key Responsibilities 

- Conduct Electrical Testing and Inspection in line with BS 7671 
- Complete electrical installation and upgrade works 
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance 
- Deliver remedial works identified during testing and inspection 
- Support apprentices and junior engineers 
- Complete all certification, reports and electronic documentation accurately 
- Work safely and compliantly at all times, following site-specific requirements 
- Maintain high standards of customer service and workmanship

About You 

- Full UK manual driving licence 
- City and Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) Testing and Inspection 
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) 
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Testing and Inspection 
- Strong awareness of safe systems of work and compliance
