We are seeking a qualified and proactive Mobile Electrician to join a specialized engineering team supporting critical water infrastructure in the Southampton area. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of electrical and general maintenance projects.

• Pay Rate: -23 per hour

• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

• Start Date: 18/05/2026.

• Location: Southampton / Hampshire (Mobile).

• Maintenance & Compliance: Carry out statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical tasks across various sites.

• Technical Repairs: Perform general maintenance and electrical repairs to ensure system reliability and safety.

• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team of engineers to deliver high-quality service across the regional portfolio.

• Equipment Management: Responsible for the correct use and maintenance of provided tools and digital equipment.

Essential:

• 18th Edition: Must hold a valid 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (Mandatory).

• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for this mobile position.

• Professionalism: A reliable and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic.

Desirable:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 and AM2 certification.

• Testing: Experience in Testing and Inspection is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be provided with:

• Full uniform and all necessary PPE (Safety boots, gloves, hi-vis, hard hat, and safety glasses).

• Professional Tools and Vehicle.

• Phone and Tablet for managing work orders.

• P Card and Fuel Card for business expenses.
