We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of secure commercial properties throughout Cambridgeshire.

The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault-finding across electrical and associated building services systems.
This is a mobile role covering multiple sites across Cambridgeshire, with a company van and fuel card provided. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring facilities and critical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems and associated plant.
- Supporting general building services maintenance, including HVAC, mechanical and fabric-related tasks.
- Working across multiple commercial and secure sites throughout Cambridgeshire.
- Managing a mobile workload and prioritising reactive and planned maintenance requirements across the region.
- Issuing, controlling and managing Permits to Work where required.
- Monitoring subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standard.
- Ensuring all plant, equipment and electrical systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records, service reports and compliance documentation.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety requirements, RAMS, COSHH and safe systems of work.
- Providing a professional, customer-focused service to clients and site users.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting service innovation initiatives.
- Supporting the wider engineering team with technical knowledge and assistance when required.
- City & Guilds Electrical qualifications (2365 / 2330 / 2360 or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- £45,000 – £47,000 salary
- Mobile role – Cambridgeshire
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
