South West Mobile Electrician (Building Services)
Location: Bristol / South West (Mobile Role)
Salary: £45,000 Van Travel Allowance

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management provider covering the South West region, ideally based around Bristol.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role (8am–5pm), working across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is not purely electrical work and would suit someone with strong building services experience and a hands-on, multi-skilled approach.

The role will involve both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, along with a range of compliance duties across site systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Emergency lighting testing and inspections
• L8 water hygiene checks and basic compliance tasks
• Maintenance and fault finding on pumps, motors, and AHUs
• Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs
• Supporting general building services maintenance across sites
• Participation in an on-call rota (currently 1 in 4, moving to 1 in 5)
• Completion of job records via CAFM systems

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or ITAP)
• Basic DBS (required)
• Strong experience within building services / FM environment
• Comfortable using CAFM systems and basic IT systems
• Good communication skills and professional presentation

• Travel paid after 1 hour each way (once 8 hours onsite is completed)
• Weekly timesheets required (internal agency)
• Full induction carried out in Leatherhead
• Train ticket provided from home to Leatherhead for induction day
