OverviewMobile Device Deployment and Management Administrator
This role focuses on the procurement, testing, deployment, and ongoing management of mobile devices and applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in vendor management and possess strong operational skills, with the ability to analyze and validate invoicing against contracts. 6 months fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
Maintain physical inventory of mobile devices, updating inventories of what devices were deployed and to whom;
Approve and deny requests for devices;
Create and maintain reports related to mobile devices;
Manage cellular plans for phones and MiFis;
Troubleshoot device, connectivity, and application issues;
Manage MDM environment;
Manage Apple Business Manager account;
Collaborate with vendors for order management and procurement processes;
Review and validate invoicing against contracts to ensure accurate billing;
Pull and analyze reporting and data from websites;
Understand and manage cellular calling plans for mobile devices;
Create, integrate, and test workflows to optimize mobile device management processes;
Develop and maintain documentation related to mobile device procedures and workflows.
Qualifications
At least 2-4 years of experience managing mobile devices;
Experience with iOS Apple Devices;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Ability to learn and support new systems and applications;
Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
Requirements
Associates degree from a two-year college or technical equivalent;
Experience with other MDM platforms (MobileIron, Intune);
Experience working with cellular carriers;
Experience with MS Windows based computers and applications;
General knowledge of how different IT systems interact.
