Mobile Chiller Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Chiller Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a specialist engineering company delivering commercial chiller service, maintenance, repair and installation across London and the South East with the occasional other region when required.

This role is ideal for a Chiller Service Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or HVAC Engineer with strong experience working on commercial chiller and refrigeration systems. The position involves working across a range of commercial sites, with occasional UK-wide travel and potential European work when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repair of commercial chiller and refrigeration systems

• Fault finding and diagnostics across HVAC plant and associated equipment

• Installation, commissioning and upgrades of chiller systems

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work

• Working with HVAC controls, refrigeration cycles and electrical components

• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation

• Providing a professional service when interacting with customers on site

• Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of chillers and refrigeration systems

• F-Gas certification and relevant HVAC or refrigeration qualifications

• Ideally 3–5 years experience in the service, maintenance and repair of HVAC chiller systems

• Solid understanding of: Refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems and controls, Electrical components and fault diagnosis

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

• Experience working with Turbocore, Screw or Scroll chillers

• Knowledge of VSD systems, AHUs and FCUs

• Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems)

• Manufacturer or specialist HVAC training
