Mobile Chiller Engineer
We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Chiller Engineer / HVAC Engineer to join a specialist engineering company delivering commercial chiller service, maintenance, repair and installation across London and the South East with the occasional other region when required.
This role is ideal for a Chiller Service Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or HVAC Engineer with strong experience working on commercial chiller and refrigeration systems. The position involves working across a range of commercial sites, with occasional UK-wide travel and potential European work when required.
The successful candidate will join a well-established engineering team with excellent support, manufacturer training, and a strong salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities

Service, maintenance and repair of commercial chiller and refrigeration systems

Fault finding and diagnostics across HVAC plant and associated equipment

Installation, commissioning and upgrades of chiller systems

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work

Working with HVAC controls, refrigeration cycles and electrical components

Maintaining accurate service records and documentation

Providing a professional service when interacting with customers on site

Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards
Required Experience & Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of chillers and refrigeration systems

F-Gas certification and relevant HVAC or refrigeration qualifications

Ideally 3–5 years experience in the service, maintenance and repair of HVAC chiller systems

Solid understanding of: Refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems and controls, Electrical components and fault diagnosis

Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience

Experience working with Turbocore, Screw or Scroll chillers

Knowledge of VSD systems, AHUs and FCUs

Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems)

Manufacturer or specialist HVAC training
