MMA Welder - Knockhill Bridge (Bridge of Allan) and Forth Road Bridge - £21 to £25 p/h We are currently recruiting experienced MMA Welders for a short-term, site-based project working on major infrastructure across Scotland. This role involves structural welding on the underside of bridge structures, performing MMA welding on bridge support steel in challenging and safety-critical environments. Key Responsibilities Perform MMA welding on bridge support steel structures Work underneath bridge decks and in confined spaces Ensure all welding is completed to safety and structural standards Interpret and follow technical drawings and site instructions Comply with all site-specific health and safety protocols Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors Report any hazards, defects, or incidents immediately Requirements Valid CSCS Card Confined Space Certification (Essential) Proven experience in MMA (stick) welding Previous experience with bridge or structural steelwork (preferred) Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces Strong knowledge of health and safety practices Reliable, punctual, and a good team player Benefits Competitive hourly rate Full-time hours with early Friday finish Opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects Valuable experience for future long-term contracts Professional, supportive working environment ..... full job details .....
