Overview We''re looking for an MLOps Engineer to build the operational backbone that lets models move safely and reliably from experimentation into production, at scale, across a central government department''s multi-cloud, Legacy-integrated environment. Where the MLEngineer trains models and the AI Engineer builds features on top of them, you own the pipeline, infrastructure, and monitoring that keeps everything running in production. You''ll work inside a collaborative "Rainbow Team" alongside civil servants, translating the Architect''s platform decisions into reproducible, auditable infrastructure. Key Responsibilities ML/AI Pipeline Engineering - Design CI/CD pipelines specific to ML/AI workloads, covering data versioning, training, testing, packaging, and deployment. Production Reliability - Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and automated rollback for AI services in production, tuned for the availability and sensitivity requirements of public-sector systems. Infrastructure-as-Code - Build reproducible, auditable infrastructure for AI workloads - compute, storage, networking - using IaC tooling appropriate to the department''s multi-cloud environment.
