Job RoleWe are excited to be recruiting for an experienced leader to join us at Oakwood as an SEN/MLD Teacher and work with our KS2/KS3 pupils who experience a range of needs including MLD. The appointed person will establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which students with special educational needs make good academic progress and can participate in activities across the school. We are able to provide a fantastic working experience in our custom made MLD provision. Our teachers are given autonomy and trust to teach; you are encouraged to take learning beyond the classroom and utilise our 30 acres of ground and woodland to bring learning to life. At Oakwood we have a no blame culture where you are encouraged to be creative in your delivery and thinking; this role is perfect for a conscientious and self-reflective teacher.
