Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 and Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.Mixed Tax Manager / Senior ManagerAltrincham£50,000 - £58,000Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a highly reputable and progressive firm of chartered accountants in Altrincham who, due to continued and sustained success and growth, are looking to appoint a Mixed Tax Manager or Senior Manager to play a key role in their tax team.Responsibilities

Manage a varied portfolio of clients including Owner Managed Businesses and High Net Worth Individuals.Work closely with existing Tax Managers across the firm’s regional offices and provide excellent advisory services on corporate and personal tax issues.Play an integral role in developing the firm’s tax offering and be involved in business development activities, engaging with both new and existing clients.Operate in a firm that offers varied exposure to a diverse range of clients and interesting work.Support the Tax partners as a trusted deputy, including oversight of the tax managers, seniors and trainees.Key Duties

Undertake work primarily for corporate clients with some interaction with other taxes (including income tax, CGT, VAT).Oversee UK and international tax compliance work, primarily in a review and client liaison capacity.Undertake advisory tax projects (e.g., company valuations, reorganisations, acquisitions and sales, HMRC enquiries, share option schemes, and preparation of specific tax advice and reports).Maintain regular liaison with HM Revenue and Customs, clients, and the firm’s accounts and audit departments.Qualifications and Skills

CTA or ACA qualifiedDemonstrable Tax Planning and management experience within a reputable firm of accountantsBusiness development experienceRewards and Benefits
