Mixed Tax Manager

The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Mixed Tax Manager to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, manage a small team and play an important role in the continued development of the firm''s tax offering. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of tax compliance and advisory work, and who is keen to develop the advisory side of their experience within a growing and supportive practice. The Role The successful candidate will have a varied and interesting role, including:Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contactOverseeing a range of personal and corporate tax compliance workProviding tax advice and supporting clients with their wider tax requirementsManaging, mentoring and developing members of the tax teamReviewing work and ensuring high standards of deliveryWorking closely with the partners and wider accountancy teamGetting involved in a variety of tax projects and ad hoc advisory assignmentsIdentifying opportunities to add value for clients and develop the firm''s advisory offeringPlaying an active role in the continued growth of the tax departmentAbout You Ideally, you will be CTA and/or AAT qualified, with strong experience gained within an accountancy practice. You will have a good grounding in UK tax compliance, together with some advisory experience and a genuine interest in developing this further.
