About the Role
Pertemps Glasgow Contracts is seeking a reliable Minibus Driver to join their client's transport service in Arbroath. This temporary assignment, paying £14.39 per hour, involves operating demand-responsive minibuses with up to 16 passenger seats on public routes across Angus. Key responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, assisting passengers, and adhering to scheduled timetables. Shifts are Monday to Friday between 07:00-13:00 or 12:30-18:30, plus Saturdays from 08:00-13:30 or 13:00-18:30, subject to change. Candidates must hold a valid D1 driving licence with passenger endorsement, demonstrate a courteous manner, and possess strong road safety awareness. Previous experience in passenger transport is essential for this role.

Available Shifts
The following shifts are available to provide cover and are subject to change, with notice, to meet operational requirements:
- Monday to Friday (AM): 07:00 – 13:00
- Monday to Friday (PM): 12:30 – 18:30
- Saturday (AM): 08:00 – 13:30
- Saturday (PM): 13:00 – 18:30
We are seeking a number of reliable and experienced Minibus Drivers to join our client's transport service based in Forfar and Arbroath, Angus. This role involves operating publicly accessible, demand-responsive transport services using minibus vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a minibus (up to 16 passenger seats) on public transport routes throughout Angus
- Provide assistance to passengers where required, including those using wheelchairs, walking frames or other mobility aids
- Work from a pre-planned passenger manifest; no fare collection is required
- Collect and return the vehicle to the designated depot in either Forfar or Arbroath at the start and end of each shift
- Carry out basic internal and external cleaning of the vehicle when operational requirements allow. Cleaning materials and equipment will be provided
- Deliver a professional, courteous and customer-focused service at all times
- Valid Category D1 driving licence with no restrictions
- A clean driving licence is preferred
- No DD, DR, CD or IN licence endorsement
- Previous experience driving a minibus or similar vehicle is desirable
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A professional and dependable approach to work
