Minibus Driver - Temp to Perm - Starting ASAP Location: Hastings, East Sussex Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Hours: Core 20 hours per week (with potential for additional hours most weeks) Contract: Temporary to Permanent About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Minibus Driver to join their friendly and supportive team based in Hastings. This role involves driving a P1 / D1 category minibus, transporting children to and from school functions such as sports fixtures, football matches, and other events. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, responsible, and personable driver who enjoys working with young people and is looking for a flexible, ongoing role with the potential to become permanent. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport children and staff to and from school events and sports fixtures. Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the minibus is kept clean and well-maintained. Follow all safety and safeguarding procedures at all times. Maintain accurate journey logs and report any issues promptly. Provide a friendly, professional, and reliable service at all times. Requirements: Valid CPC Licence Valid Digital Tachograph Card Valid D1 (Minibus) Licence Enhanced DBS (must be in date) Excellent driving record and safety awareness Friendly, reliable, and patient personality Hours and Pay: Core hours approximately 20 hours per week, with scope for additional shifts depending on school schedules and events.
